Common Diseases Vaccination

Immunization service is an essential part of modern healthcare, helping to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and protect individuals and communities from serious illnesses. In recent years, many pharmacies have begun to offer immunization services, providing patients with a convenient and accessible way to receive vaccinations.
At our pharmacy, we are proud to offer a comprehensive immunization service, with trained and experienced pharmacists who are able to administer a range of vaccinations to patients of all ages.
One of the key benefits of our immunization service is its convenience. Patients are able to receive vaccinations at our pharmacy without needing to make an appointment or visit a separate healthcare provider. This can be particularly important for individuals who have busy schedules or limited access to healthcare services.
By providing immunization services in a community pharmacy setting, we are able to help more people stay up-to-date with their vaccinations and protect themselves from serious illnesses.
Why Our Pharmacy?
Another advantage of our immunization service is the expertise of our pharmacists. Our team of healthcare professionals is trained to understand the complexities of different vaccinations, as well as any potential side effects or interactions with other medications.
This means that we are able to provide patients with thorough information and support, helping them to make informed decisions about their health and ensure that they receive the vaccinations that are right for their individual needs.
We Administer The Following Vaccines:
- Bacille Calmette-Guérin (BCG)
- Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib)
- Hepatitis A.
- Hepatitis B.
- Herpes Zoster (Shingles)
- Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
- Japanese Encephalitis.
- Meningococcal disease.
- Shingles
- Flu Shot
Additionally accessible in selected pharmacies is the shingles vaccine. A primary care physician’s prescription is required for patients who prefer to get the vaccine from a pharmacist, and they must also pay the drugstore a price for the vaccine.
In Ontario, the initial B12 injection can only be given by a doctor or pharmacist for demonstration and educational purposes. After that, you can administer the injection to yourself.
