COVID-19 Testing
With the ongoing pandemic, it’s important to take all necessary precautions to protect yourself and those around you.
COVID-19 testing is an effective way to determine if you have been infected with the virus and to take the necessary steps to prevent further spread.
Why Our Pharmacy?
Our pharmacy offers rapid antigen and PCR tests. Rapid antigen tests provide results within minutes and are useful for quickly identifying active infections.
PCR tests, on the other hand, are more sensitive and can detect smaller amounts of the virus. PCR tests are recommended for those who are experiencing symptoms, have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, or need a test for travel purposes.
Rapid Antigen Test
Result In 15 Minutes
Recommended for individuals who are suspected of having an active COVID-19 infection or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
PCR Test
Result – Next Day
For individuals who experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or need a COVID-19 test for travel purposes.
Who Can Get Tested?
- If you have symptoms.
- If you have concerns about infecting others.
- If you have been exposed to someone with Covid-19 symptoms.
After your initial positive result, you can test positive for antigens for a few weeks. It can be challenging to determine whether a positive test results in a new infection because reinfections can happen within 90 days.
2 to 14 days after virus contact, symptoms may start to show. Anyone can experience minor to major symptoms. Possible signs include chills or a fever.
